Exclusive Interview: "The Bonafide Brawler" A.C. Mack!

Below is an exclusive interview with movie star A.C. Mack days after signing with Infinity Wrestling. The Bonafide Brawler discusses the level of competition, his plans in Infinity and the $25,000 fine he received by IWF management.
______________________________________

1) Let's get straight into things, before me is the movie and wrestling icon, A.C. Mack. With your impending return to the ring, what tempted you to join Infinity Wrestling?

A few things actually. I first heard about the company from my good friend, Chris Michaels, and once I heard that Roderick Blackmore would be one of the people over it, I became even more excited because I was used to working with Mr. Blackmore over in UBW and I'm aware of what he's capable of and how he can push a federation to the next level. More than anything, though, I was intrigued by the fact that the wrestlers, now, will get a lot more creative control in their contracts. I think that's what's going to set IWF apart from other federations in the past. Owners would have too much control and when it came down to having to do everything themselves, they would crack because it was too overwhelming, ya know? This, instead, puts more emphasis on the wrestlers.

2) There's been a lot of buzz about the return of A.C. Mack, and you've been cast right into the limelight. What is the situation with you pulling out of the the IWF World Heavyweight Championship Tournament?

There's no tournament to have pulled out of. The limelight is rightfully placed on me because I am already the World Champion. Any sane person knows that if I'm on your roster, the championship needs to belong to me, simple as that. Next question.

3) So that begs the question, what are your plans for Infinity?

I plan to make history alongside IWF. In my last stint with companies like UBW, CDW and PCW, I etched my name in the list of legends in this industry and in this company, I plan to raise the bar even further. Expected the unexpected and prepare for the unimaginable.

4) With all Infinity Wrestlers coming from the Bebo Wrestling Network, and some completely reinventing themselves, do you think the standard of competition has gone up since you last set foot in the ring?

Oh most definitely! You have to understand, I've been away from the ring a little over a year now and that's more than enough time for individuals to hone in on their skills and perfect their craft. So if anything, I expect these wrestlers to have all stepped it up a notch. The standard will inevitably go up because everybody wants the same thing--my championship.

5) Are there tensions with management because of you pulling out of the tournament? They did fine you $25,000, so can you elaborate on that at all?

Is that what that was?! I remember my financial advisor mentioning something of that nature but I couldn't be too bothered with it. $25,000?! That's all?! You're gonna have to fine me a lot more than that to make feel sorry for something. (laughs) And I simply pulled out of the tournament because there was no need for it. Why am I being insulted by being placed in a tournament when I've already been awarded the championship? C'mon now, ask yourself the same question! It doesn't make sense now, does it?!

6) Before you're sent on your way Mack we have one final question. When can we expect to see you in Infinity Wrestling?

You can expect to see me when the time is right. When Mr. Blackmore and I feel it's the right time for the fans to see their World Heavyweight Champion, then you'll all see me. It's as simple as that.

Adrian Flynn's Meltdown, a Professional Soccer League, Infinity #2 Aftermath

Coming out of Infinity #2 it is reported that management are once again happy with the show, the winners and the overall quality of the write ups and graphics. The only sour note for Roderick Blackmore was the no-show from Lucian Shannon, essentially giving Taylor Westfall a free pass to the Infinity Championship match at Immortalis.

Speaking of the final, it’s now been confirmed that Adrian Flynn will take on Taylor Westfall for the world title belt at the first PPV. Adrian defeated Chris Michaels and Murray Muir on his way to the final whilst Westfall defeated Jack Anderson and Lucian Shannon. Movie star A.C. Mack still has possession of the belt.

There is a lot of heat on Taylor Westfall for his participation in the final as neither Shannon nor Anderson promoed, and believe he still has a lot to prove given his easy route into the final.

Talking of heat, there is also heat on John Charismatic after he tagged himself in during his and Blair Holmes match with Jordan Casanova and James Jameson. According to our insider, this was not scheduled to happen, JC thought he could get over with the crowd by scoring the pinfall over Jameson/Casanova. As a result the result was improvised by Brian Von-Malice, who DQ’d his team.

For the Singularis Championship, it’s rumoured that up to seven or eight men could enter the match at the PPV. The risk and reward, all-in championship currently has four wrestlers competing for it: Chris Michaels, Jamo, Joey Tierney and Jason Smith. As of writing thiss more matches are set to take place on Infinity #4

It’s believed that there will be four shows leading up to Immortalis. Infinity #3 takes place on Monday September 2nd and Infinity #4 is set for Monday September 16th. This means Immortalis is likely to take place on Sunday 29th September or Monday 30th as no specific day has been set for the PPV.

TCK is reportedly high on Matt Young in the federation. Young, who faces Neal Powers for the Purity title believes that Young has shown immediate signs of improvement and believes The One and Only to be a valuable asset.

An angle nixed from Infinity #2?
A.C. Mack delivered a speech to Roderick Blackmore on Infinity and earlier in the night TCK said that Blackmore had gone out into the City to track down A.C. Mack. A segment filmed with Blackmore and Mack and has been delayed until Infinity #3.

Who is Jack Anderson’s attacker?
The technical wrestler reappeared on Infinity with TK and his manager Maxwell Panther acting as his private security. It’s believed that management have a long story planned for Anderson, and should he stay fit, it will likely culminate at the second PPV, likely to take place before Christmas. Anderson is expected to portray a paranoid character from this Infinity and the storyline will continue in the tag team match with Murray Muir against two Infinity debutants, Jett Underwood and Rick Bowman!

Football/Soccer League to begin soon?
Roderick Blackmore is reportedly going to jump on the bandwagon of professional soccer taking place in the City and plans to finance a new franchise. In addition Blackmore wants to create a professional league with teams from Infinity and the surrounding cities. Neighbouring Fair City, Paradise City, and Princeland will begin talks with Infinity to have a merged league.

Currently two teams are in existence. Matt Rydell’s Infinity City FC and Jordan Casanova’s Fair City Athletic have formed in recent weeks and more are likely to follow.

ICFC have recently signed a preliminary contract with the MLS, but Blackmore hopes to persuade the team to sign for the soon to be league!

Adrian Flynn’s Personal Meltdown
And finally there have been a lot of rumbling in the locker-room that Adrian Flynn is going through a personal crisis in his life. Whilst doing some research on his partner apparently it was Murray Muir who uncovered that Flynn is in fact getting divorced from his wife, Alexis. The two have reportedly came to blows over Adrian wrestling with a bad knee. Adrian’s bad knee cost him a place on the Olympic wrestling team several years ago. Adrian is reportedly upset with Murray backstage but will not confront the controversial wrestler, not yet anyway.

Information About the IWF Singularis Championship!

For those lurking in the dark about the relevance and meaning of the Infinity titles, we at the Dirtsheet have gone to the trouble of enlightening you in Infinity City about just this issue. Pulled from the 'Developmental' page under the Infinity Championship Guide, here is the official statement about the Singularis Championship.

It is widely believed in the locker-room that the championship belt will be revealed on the second Infinity show on Monday August 19th 2013 and that it will be TCK doing the honours, and not Chairman Roderick Blackmore.

There is also rumblings amongst management that the Singularis division will be a success because the matches are non-conventional matches. Management believe this will lead to many memorable moments, and high spots that will be used in future highlight reels.

This week there are three Singularis qualifiers, the first of which is a Ladder match between Matt Young, Chris Michaels, and Craig Anderson. Second, Jamo and debutant Starkiss will collide in a submission match, and lastly two highly rated wrestlers Jason Smith and Joey Tierney will battle in a tables match.

IWF Singularis Championship

The IWF Singularis Championship is a title that means only extraordinary and ballsy competitors can fair at competing in the division for a shot becoming the champion. At Infinity HQ we didn’t want another typical ‘Hardcore’ division, and this is not about being that at all. The Singularis title represents singular and daring efforts to showboat yourself to becoming the most outstanding champion you can be, a high-risk, uncertain division that anything can happen. There are two major rules to the division, number one is that standard ‘one fall’ matches do not occur, and secondly the match will not end until there is a definitive winner. This league is about breaking down walls, coming out of your comfort zone, and being encouraged to do absolutely any and all things to become the singularity of the Infinity City…the person who has no limit, the person of infinite possibility.

‘Singularis’ Stipulations:
·     Conventional/standard matches will never take place when then IWF Singularis Championship is involved
·     Until a definitive winner of matches has their hand raised the match will continue, there is no escape from a match involving the IWF Singularis Championship
·     In a kayfabe manner, in order to contend for the championship your character must bring something to the table in a manner of speaking, this is a high-risk all reward division if you are successful
·     Types of common Singularis matches to take place will include:
o    Wager Matches: Bets on things, like Infinity creations, nicknames, finishing moves, rights to things, anything really. A winner takes all system.

o    Stipulation Matches: A participant, or both, have a stipulation to include for the upcoming match

Infinity Dirtsheet: Twitter wars, tag-team's, 'Not Over', and more!

It has been a busy few weeks in the Infinity camp, with the effects of the first ever show still reeling its head there has been much talk of the future shows in line before the first pay-per-view Immortalis.

- The plan to have Infinity #3 as as a tag-team week is apparently still on the cards to happen no matter what. Speaking of tag-teams the only only official team is Over Rated (Holmes & Charismatic), but it is also rumored that Jordan Casanova and James Jameson have been overheard discussing the prospects of a stable consisting of both Agency and Fair City representatives.

- Infinity #2 will feature the IWF Singularis Championship, where people in order to compete must put something personal on the line in matches with risk-taking and a gambling natures. New Infinity star Starkiss has challenged Jamo over the use of the Clover Leaf Submission finisher which they both use, as of writing Jamo has not responded to his challenge as of yet.

- Taylor Westfall was tweeting in the week about A.C. Mack stealing the IWF World Championship from the first show:

- Another Twitter War firing up was between the two contestants in the qualifying for the IWF World Championship Murrary Muir and Adrian Flynn, here is their heated words between them:

- Many of the wrestlers backside spoke to Infinity City correspondents over the result of the John Charismatic & Blair Holmes match at Infinity #1. It was a unanimous thought in the roster that it should have been Charismatic who should have been the one to  take the pinfall for Holmes to win. Infinity COO even blasted him for his actions, "Talk about not putting anyone over in the match, John has only gone to show that he will never be over, and judging by the crowd reaction they'll all agree with me. John had a chance to put over his tag team partner, but chose otherwise."

- The Infinity COO TCK also released feedback about the first Infinity show, "Infinity one was a resounding success and set the bar for the future in this federation I can only hope we can kick it up a notch for week two, Infinity is going nowhere, copy that!"
You can find TCK's feedback for his "Copy Room" at this link: http://tckcopyroom.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/infinity-1-feedback.html

Dirtsheet Exclusive: Confusion in the House of IWF

CNN news have finally released a pre-recorded segment that was blocked from reaching the air ways. Infinity CEO Roderick Blackmore supposedly blocked the report from airing around the world until the first Infinity show had aired. Below is an interesting scoop that potentially spoiled the opening to the opening of the first Infinity Monday on August 5th 2013.

_______________

As recently reported by CNN news, legendary federation owners, Roderick Blackmore and The Copycat Kid, have joined forces to fund an all new corporation for professional wrestling, Infinity Wrestling Federation (IWF), based in the heart of Infinity City.

Former professional wrestler, Amen-Ra Mackey, better known by his fans as A.C. Mack, just recently purchased a $72 million condo in downtown in Infinity City for him and his wife, Makeda, which left die-hard fans to speculate whether Mack was interested in signing with the new company. After weeks of silence from the Oscar and Golden-Globe-winning Hollywood star, news finally broke out that Mack had, indeed, signed on to work with the two owners once more, causing the terms, “A.C. Mack,” “IWF” and “Infinity” to trend worldwide on Twitter for one week and four days, six days and three days respectively.

Mack, however, has not yet returned to his newly-purchased, Infinity home since the end of May, as he is currently located in Hollywood, California spending much time with his idol, the 21-time Grammy Award-winning Kanye West, as he is set to play West in the upcoming biopic, “Mr West,” slated for a December 2014 release.

Just recently, IWF has released an official statement which discloses the monumental first match card for the highly anticipated weekly show, Infinity, and as many fans projected, there will be a tournament to decide the very first IWF World Heavyweight Champion with the tournament including the likes of such legends as Chris Michaels, Joey Harding and Adrian Flynn. Mack, however, is notably not in the tournament or even scheduled to compete on the show for that matter, which left many fans at dismay.

CNN reporters, Trina Baizemore, Gerald Lockley and many more attempted to get a word from the 2009 Wrestler of the Year but when asking him of his thoughts, Mack, with a complete, straight face and not a detectable emotion from his presence whatsoever, simply and seemingly sarcastically snarled his lip and uttered, “What tournament?! I’m already the champion!” prior to walking off and not speaking any further to reporters.

What could this mean? Is Mack actually the champion or is the tournament legit? A lot of things seem to be looking fuzzy for the first show of Infinity Wrestling but as soon news breaks, CNN will be the first to report to you live what transpires.
_______________

Inside sources believe that Blackmore was terrified Mack was spoiling the show, and there is reportedly tension between the two as a result of the article not being published. It's heavily unlikely Mack will be fined again after he laughed off the first $25,000 fine imposed on Mack after pulling out of the world championship tournament. In turn, Blackmore doesn't want to be made out as a fool by one of Hollywood's elite.

From the CNN report it's clear that Mack's intentions were already to rob IWF of the world title, so is there more to the story?

It's rumoured that Blackmore is considering going one on one with Mack at the first PPV, Immortalis, though plans are dependent on the championship matches on the night and whether the collision between the Chairman and the "Bonafide Brawler" will be given enough time.

Stay tuned for more on this developing issue!

Purity Championship Information, Infinity Monday Hype!

With little over three days until the first Infinity broadcast there is considerable hype surrounding the new federation. Dirtsheet reporters have reached out and several Infinity personalities and management have commented about the upcoming show.

COO, The Copycat Kid:
“Big reveals, matches, unveiling the wrestlers. Monday night will be an amazing night. Copy That!”

BZN Representative, Lana Parker:
“Myself and Mr. Osman will be keeping a close eye on the live show. We hope the company lives up to its billing at a TV 14 television show. If it does that, all parties will be happy!”

Host of ‘The LaTundra Show’, Shanaynay LaTundra:
“Why isn't I on dat roster? Bitch fresh outta jail ready to wrestle.”

Infinity Chairman, Roderick Blackmore:
“At least two of the championships are going to be unveiled. It is going to be a memorable night for all involved.”

We believe Roderick is referring to unveiling the World and Purity championships. It is believed that the unveiling will open the show before the first match of the night between Murray Muir and Matt Young.

The first Purity match is a triple threat between Matt Rydell, Jordan Casanova, and Joey Harding. It’s believed management are incredibly high on the Purity belt and feel that because there is only a broadcast once a fortnight, it’s crucial to have at least one title on the line on each show. Roderick Blackmore, in particular, is pleased with the high calibre of opponents in the main event, and currently doesn’t object to any of the three holding the belt.

The first challenger for the winner of the match will face the winner who names the ring announcer. There is still time for Infinity wrestlers to create their own choice for the show at the link below:

Below is the official Infinity Wrestling bio about the Purity Championship, taken from the Infinity Championships page on the Developmental section of the website:

And finally the crown jewel of the Infinity City, the IWF Purity Championship. Out of all the titles made for the Infinity City this is the exemplification of Infinity’s purpose to provide an ever changing living story. The name Purity reflects the way that pure champions arise to mantle of vanguard of the Infinity City, and protect it from show to show. Shaped in a particular way to show that the Purity champion is on the forefront of all things Infinity, in-and-out of the ring, check below for some stipulations and cool benefits of being the IWF Purity Championship.

‘Purity’ Stipulations:
·     Getting a title match is not necessarily because of winning matches, contender-ship to the Purity title is predominantly based upon innovation in the Infinity City, IWF management will announce the stipulations are each show for how to become the next contender for the Purity title. There are unlimited reasons why you might be awarded a title match, here are a few examples:
o    Recognition by management
o    Democratic votes for innovative ideas
o    Invaluable input into storyline
o    Unparalleled character development
o    Infinity City contributions & creations
·     The Purity championship will be defended every single show, no if’s or buts, so those who want to dedicate themselves to being champion will need to be committed for this period
·     After 5 successful matches for the championship (including the one match you won it) you will be awarded an IWF Championship match in the future
o    If you choose this option you will be vacated of the IWF Purity Championship and you will have guaranteed your world title match
o    If you choose to reject this option you can remain Purity champion, but you can always cash it in at a later date providing you are still Purity champion
o    If you lose your status as Purity champion you will not be legible for a world title match, you must ‘cash in’ whilst your name is on the belt
